                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF SHOLAR AVENUE MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY,
                   MAY 18, 1991 FOR THE PURPOSE OF A BIRTHDAY
                   PARTY UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF MRS. TANA

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Sholar Avenue between Wilson Street and
       Bernard Avenue on Saturday, May 18, 1991 from 6:30 p.m. to 12:00
       midnight for the purpose of conducting a birthday party under the 

       sponsorship of Mrs. Tana Joiner provided that the sponsor shall
       set out and pick up all flasher barricades and traffic signs in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and 
shall
       provide at all times an access lane for emergency vehicles.
